Tuesday, March 16th, 1999 - The United States Marine Corps descended upon the eastern San Francisco BCay as part of the Operation Urban Warrior exercises. Their goal was to test and develop methods of conducting MOUT (Military Operations in Urban Terrain) and to answer the most important question of all... "Can you do a kickflip?"

As part of these exercises, the viability of new tactics and equipment was tested including using skateboards for locating tripwires & sniper fire and an experimental camouflage pattern unofficially dubbed "Urban T-Block" due to the various letter T like shapes in the pattern.

Unfortunately, neither the pattern nor skateboards were adopted, however the lessons learned during the exercises proved to be useful later such as in Fallujah in 2003.

Mag Lads magazines are a fun way of getting something custom from Rifle Dynamics, yet with a much shorter lead time. These custom mags feature multi-toned lasered, classic camo patterns. More camo and other “out there” patterns or designs will be added/retired as the project continues. These will be fun to collect, but are also a great way of differentiating your mags in a class or outing with your friends.  Trust us, your friends will be jelly.

*Note that colors may vary due to materials composition. Also magazine designs will start to change color and patina with use.  This is caused by the introduction of oils produced by your hands.  All magazines will be shipped in a plastic bag once burned for those who want to keep your magazines NIB.
