The RD702 Production Rifle features our signature action tuning, RD M4 Stock adapter, & custom front-end work using the RD Tunable Front sight Gas Block, Ultimak M1-B Scope Rail, and RD Flash Hider. By moving the center of gravity closer to the body, our front-end design vastly improves the handling of this full-length AK rifle. Additionally, our M4 Stock adapter allows the use of modern collapsible stocks with an adjustable length of pull.
If selecting the TWS Dog Leg Rail & Peep sight please note, the RD Enhanced Rear Sight will not be included with the build.
RD now offers the option to purchase an optic with your build. If selected, we'll mount and zero the selected optic for 100 yards, so it'll be ready to go right out of the box!
SPECS
The function of the rifle itself is perfect. The action is smooth, lightweight, and accurate. Easily one of my favorite weapons. The only problem I had is that after a few hundred rounds the castle nut for the buffer tube came loose. Certainly annoying given the price and the wait time, hence the 4 star rating.
But thats not a complete deal breaker. Everything else about the rifle is fantastic. Once I loctite the castle nut I wouldn't have an issue trusting my life to it.
I placed my order and I received a series of emails confirming the cost, a detailed list of exactly what I ordered & when my order will be ready. I called Rifle Dynamics to inquire about the required FFL my question was answered quickly and the customer service was excellent. I look forward to receiving this top of the line weapon system. I recommend doing your research by viewing Rifle Dynamics videos on YouTube. The information found on Youtube was extremely helpful.
