Can I come to the shop and check out Rifle Dynamics?

We do not have a retail storefront that is open to the public. We do, however, offer custom build classes where customers are invited into our classroom for a full weekend of instruction, that ends with your very own self built custom Rifle Dynamics firearm.

Can Rifle Dynamics act as my FFL?

No. Please do not transfer any firearms to our FFL prior to contacting us. Your item will be turned away and you will not be reimbursed for any associated fees.

I am a Las Vegas Local. Can I come pick up my gun in person?

Please contact us if this is the case. This scenario will be addressed on a person to person basis.

How are your barrels made?

All of our barrels are made from 4150 CrMoV, featuring SAAMI Spec chambers, Button Cut and Nitrided. The current twist rate on our 7.62x39mm barrels is 1:10". They all come standard with an 11 degree crown.

Our 5.45 Quickhatch, due to the shorter barrel and lighter cartridge, features at 1:6.25 twist rate.

Are your Barrels Concentric?

While concentricity is not the only factor to accuracy, we off the best in quality control by employing Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

What thread pitch are your barrels cut to?

All of our barrels are cut to 1/2x28 RH.

Can i see a sample of what your paint Colors look like?

What is your Current Lead Time for Custom Built Firearms?

Lead times are always subject to change due to parts availability, but we’re currently estimating 6-8 months for all custom builds.

I don’t see the muzzle device I would like installed on the website. Can I send in my own muzzle device?

Yes! All our barrels are cut to 1/2x28 TPI, so please make sure the muzzle device matches this thread pitch. If it is a smaller bore muzzle device (ex. 5.56mm), Rifle Dynamics has the capability to bore that muzzle device out to .30 cal if needed.

What if I need to change or cancel my custom build order?

Any and all changes to the order can be made completely free within the first 24 hours of the order being placed. Any changes beyond this point may incur a fee.

Please note that by adding NFA or custom engravings to your build, your initial deposit will become non-refundable as the receiver will be permanently marked with your NFA information or other engraving.

What if I want to order an RD 701 or RD 501 (side folder)?

At this time, we are unable to offer our side folder receiver builds as the current parts available on the market do not meet our standards.

Once we are able to source quality parts for these models we will be happy to offer them again.

Quick Ship firearms offer limited customization depending on the model in exchange for a shorter lead time.

Upgrade Packages & Kit Builds

Are you able to build my parts kit gun?

Rifle Dynamics is focusing further into production builds. As a result, we are unable to take on parts kits, imported firearms, or RD Upgrades beyond Arsenal, K-USA and PSA. We recommend our friends over at Mesa Kinetic Research, CW Gunwerks, and M13 Industries for assistance with your parts kit project.

What firearms can be sent in for the RD Upgrade package?

We can perform our front end conversion/upgrade services on the following:

Can you convert my Rifle Dynamics, Arsenal, K-USA, or PSA firearm into a short barrel Rifle (SBR) for me?

Absolutely! There are 2 ways to go about this:

  1. You can submit a Form 1 to the ATF, receive your approval and tax stamp, engrave the receiver with the necessary NFA markings, and remove 1" from the barrel. From there we are able to take on any further work requested such as our front end conversion.
  2. You can send us your rifle (after contacting us first). We will perform the necessary work, including the NFA engraving. We will then send the gun to your specified FFL. Once the FFL receives the firearm, you can submit a Form 4 to the ATF. Once approved, the SBR is yours.

I purchased an Arsenal/K-USA/PSA Upgrade, but haven’t received an email with shipping instructions. When can I expect additional information?

Orders are processed in the order they are received, please be patient as we will get to your order shortly. In the mean time, if you would like to ship your item for an Arsenal/K-USA/PSA Upgrade, below are the Shipping Address and Instructions:

  1. Please Include the following items in your package
    • Copy of current/valid Driver's License
    • NFA Forms (If applicable)
    • Copy of your Rifle Dynamics online order and or invoice
    • Copy of your FFL/SOT info (if your dealer will be managing shipping & receiving)
  2. Please remove all optics, white lights, lasers, wooden accessories (if applicable), and mounts prior to shipping.
  3. Pack the firearm/accessories securely in a cardboard box with foam, bubble wrap, packing peanuts, and or any appropriate material to protect it from damage. Make sure to cover the muzzle/end of your barrel, charging handle, and any other protruding parts. Any damage claims are the responsibility of the shipper. You will be notified of any damage (if any was incurred) when we receive the package.
  4. Use FEDEX or UPS Ground to ship your package. Always request "21+ / Adult Signature Required" and insurance on the package with the carrier in case of loss or damage by the carrier.
  5. Please do not send your firearm in a hard or soft case! These use valuable storage space in our shop and we will not guarantee you will get the case back. If you are sending a disposable case, please include a note in your package so we can dispose of it.

Returns, Cancellations, & Refund Policy

All Firearm Orders (Built to order, Quick Ship, & In stock firearms)

Customers are responsible for knowing his or her own state laws. Any firearms purchased online that are not eligible to ship to a restricted state will be voided and will be classified as a refused order, which is subject to the reprocessing fees below.

Upon placing your order for a firearm, you enter into an agreement to purchase. Any canceled or refused order will be subject to a 20% reprocessing fee of the total paid amount. Any secondary, tertiary, etc. cancellations following the first refund will incur an additional 5% increase with each refund, i.e. 25%, 30%, 35%.

In a circumstance in which the customer is unable to pay the balance on a Built to Order firearm within 30 days of completion, it will be treated as a Canceled Order and would be subject to our 20% reprocessing fee for a refund, or you will be issued company credit for your initial deposit.

If custom/NFA engravings are added to the order, the initial deposit will be non-refundable as the receiver of the firearm will be permanently marked with the engravings.

Build Classes

To be eligible for a refund, you must notify us at least 90 days prior to your class date. Refunds for build classes will be subject to a 5% reprocessing fee less the deposited amount.
If you need to reschedule, you will have one year from your scheduled class date to enroll in another build class with no additional fees incurred. There are no exceptions to this rule. If you are unable to reschedule within one year, you will forfeit all tuition payment. Secondary reschedules will not be eligible for a refund. You will be issued a company credit to use toward a built to order firearm only.


We do our due diligence in contacting our students numerous times prior to the build classes; in the case of a no-show attendance, the customer forfeits his or her tuition payment for the class and it will not be eligible for a refund or company credit.

Webstore Orders

If you receive a damaged or incorrect product from our store (accessories, parts, or merchandise) please contact Rifle Dynamics within 14 days of receipt  of the order to proceed with the exchange or refund process. If the refund or exchange is due to an error on the part of Rifle Dynamics, restocking feels will not apply and the amount of the item, including shipping & handling charges will be refunded. However shipping & handling charges will not be refunded due to personal dislikes or sizing problems and a 15% restocking fee will be applied to the returned funds for the item(s). Shipping costs for returning the item are the customer's responsibility.


For refund eligibility, your item must be unused, in the same condition you received it, and in the original packaging. PLEASE CONTACT RIFLE DYNAMICS BEFORE RETURNING YOUR PRODUCT. The original purchaser must send returns/exchanges to:

Some products carry warranties from other manufacturers, at which point you will need to deal directly with that manufacturer. Rifle Dynamics will assist in the process as we are able.

For items lost in transit or not delivered, it is the responsibility of the customer to file a claim with the shipping carrier.
