Rifle Dynamics 16" 7.62x39 1/2x28R Threaded Builder Barrel

Build your own AK with one of our Rifle Dynamics 7.62x39mm Barrels! Our 16" barrels are made from Nitrided 4150 Chrome Moly Vanidum Steel and feature 1/2x28 Right Hand threads to aid in aligning muzzle devices and suppressors. These barrels do not have a pre-drilled gas port allowing you to set up your barrel exactly how you need it. These barrels are our custom spec, as such they may not be compatible with some surplus parts. Be sure to measure and check the journal sizes before installation.

 

Please note, not all 1/2x28 muzzle devices are .30 caliber compatible, we reccomend the RD Flash Hider, PWS RD-FSC, Dead Air Muzzle Brakes, and SilencerCo's ASR Muzzle Brake and Flash Hiders. Any non .30 cal muzzle devices will need to be bored out to .30 caliber by a professional gunsmith. Suppressor Alignment should also be done by a professional gunsmith.
