The dust cover may require fitting on the recoil spring cutout and front face. It fits most AKM pattern and similar firearms. 



Rifle Dynamics has redesigned the top cover to provide a better custom fit on most AKs. The RD Smooth AK Dust Cover is hooded to cover the safety gap and uses a thicker gauge steel for rigidity. It's intentionally designed in a longer length in order to file for custom fit to your AK.

    I was really excited about this smooth dust cover to use it on my SLR107CR/AK104 Clone but unfortunately it does not fit, the front lip probably needs to be filled quite a bit for it to work.
