Based on Occam's MERC Freefloat Handguard, the RD Mk. II rail is made from precision machined 6061 Aluminum with a Mil-Spec Black Anodized finish. The Handguard features a 12 o'clock monolithic 1913 rail, perfect for mounting optics and IR devices, while still allowing you to maintian zero when field stripping the rifle. Additionally, there are full M-LOK slots down the right, left, and bottom side of the rail with one full slot at the 11 & 1 o'clock position to mount offset lights & slings. We've added larger vent holes for better airflow during long strings of fire and a heat shield to keep your hands cool.

Professional Gunsmith installation recommended. Installation on an already assembled firearm will require the removal of the rear sight tower & front sight post at minimum.
