The next step in Rifle Dynamics's evolution is here with the Mk.II rifles. By deleting the rear sight tower, we're able to utilize our latest rifle length handguard we designed with Occam Defense Solutions with only 1 oz difference in weight from our prior models. The free-floated RDMk.II Handguard features a monolithic 1913 rail that offers the ability to mount optics and IR aiming devices, M-LOK Sections down the sides and bottom of the rail, and a single full M-LOK slot at the 1 & 11 o'clock positions perfect for a white light or sling mount.
Just like it's standard counterpart, the RD 506 Mk.II features our signature action & trigger tuning, 1913 Rear Tunnion with Midwest Industries Folding Stock adapter, tunable gas block, 14.5 Inch barrel and pinned RD Flash Hider. (or other muzzle device of your choice) The entire rifle is rebalanced, moving the center of gravity closer to your body, vastly improving the handling of this full length AK rifle.
Suppressor tuning and alignment is included if you choose to upgrade to a Suppressor compatible muzzle device. Additionally, if you choose to add on an optic or back up sights to your build, we'll mount and zero them for you at no additional cost.
